Over the past few months, I’ve been following the developments around the COVID-19 pandemic closely. My husband has been going out to work every day during this crisis as an essential retail worker, and I’m eager to do whatever I can to help protect him and others.
To that end, I’ve taken an online course through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on contact tracing. If I can help to find those who’ve been exposed and convince them to stay home until the danger’s passed, I’ll help them and protect Fergal and others like him.
In the meantime, I’ve rediscovered my love of yoga, cooking and gardening. We’ve even put a few blueberry bushes in our back yard. And who knows, maybe I’ll get my kids out on to the local tennis courts again?
